Who I am

This website, rosephotolab.com, belongs to Polina Vorontsova, a photographer based in Limassol, Cyprus (RosePhotoLab). I am the controller of the personal data described in this policy. What data I collect

• Contact details and messages: when you fill in the contact form or message me, I receive your name, your phone number or email address and what you write.

• Shoot details: the date, location and other details we agree on for your shoot.

• Photographs: the photos I take of you during a shoot.

• Technical data: when you visit the site, the platform it runs on automatically processes your IP address, browser and device information and the pages you view. This is needed for the site to work securely and for basic visit statistics.

Why I use it

• To reply to your enquiry and arrange a shoot. Legal basis: steps taken at your request before entering into a contract.

• To do the shoot and deliver your photos in a private online gallery. Legal basis: performance of a contract.

• To keep the website running and secure and to see which pages are viewed. Legal basis: my legitimate interests.

• To show photos from your shoot in my portfolio or on Instagram. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it at any time, and I will remove the photos from the website and my social media.

I do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Who else receives it

• Wfolio, the platform that hosts this website and the online galleries, processes data on my behalf.

• Google Fonts: the site loads fonts from Google's servers, so your browser sends your IP address to Google.

• Instagram (Meta) and Telegram: if you contact me there, their own privacy policies apply.

Some of these services may process data outside the European Economic Area.

How long I keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to a shoot are deleted within 12 months. Client details and photos are kept for as long as needed to deliver the photos and answer later requests. You can ask me to delete your photos sooner.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you can access your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to its processing, receive it in a portable format and withdraw your consent at any time. To do this, message me using the contacts above. You can also complain to the Office of the Commissioner for Personal Data Protection in Cyprus (dataprotection.gov.cy).

Children

I photograph children only with the consent of a parent or guardian, and publish their photos only with that consent.
